Who We Are

ANGELICA PAPIO

Angelica Papio is a San Francisco-based landscape architect, writer, and consultant focusing on design, travel and lifestyle. She has contributed as an Eco Editor to ORIGIN Magazine, and has written for Home & Gardens, Houzz, Brightly and more. Her designs have been featured in multiple design publications.

Angelica has been designing spaces for private residences, and hospitality throughout California and internationally for over a decade. Her background as a clinical herbalist, certified Ayurvedic practitioner and nutritionist inform her ability to customize landscapes to spa and hospitality design. Her love of design has allowed her to work with her clients to build a cohesion between outdoor design, interiors, and architecture.

She shares her perspective on natural landscape within modern design, as a speaker, through her online courses and interviews. Her design studio, Atelier Angelique, imparts a mindful way of living through well designed spaces. Angelica travels extensively and lives between California and Morocco.

Welcome. We are a design build firm and education company. We provide resources for incorporating the garden into our daily lives. By highlighting custom design and construction, we create a fusion between the built and garden environment.

We work within the hospitality industry, developing fully immersive programs that center around our gardens. This includes essential oil distillation, educational programming and value-added product development for brands. We design gardens for retreats and hotels that harness the power of plants and encompass local botanical traditions.

We offer design, installation, personalized packages and consulting. This includes custom built apothecaries, edible production gardens, greenhouses, outdoor rooms, metal fabricated doors and windows, custom furniture and interiors. We work world wide on both commercial properties and private residences. Our work has been featured in ORIGIN Magazine, Dwell, on the cover of Western Art & Architecture, and in San Diego Magazine, among others.
